3. Booking and Reservation Policies

3.2 Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your trip start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3.3 Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change until your booking is confirmed. Special promotions or discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
3.4 Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: Full refund less deposit
- Cancellations 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund less deposit
- Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: No refund
- We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations
4. Road Trip Services
4.1 Itineraries: While we make every effort to operate road trips as advertised, we reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. No refunds will be offered for reasonable modifications to itineraries.
4.2 Vehicle Rentals: If your package includes vehicle rental, you must comply with the rental company's terms and conditions, including minimum age requirements, driver's license validity, and insurance provisions.
4.3 Self-Drive Responsibility: For self-drive itineraries, you are responsible for operating your vehicle safely and legally. This includes adhering to Australian road rules, speed limits, and driving conditions. Aussie Road Trips is not liable for accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage incurred during self-drive portions of your trip.
4.4 Guided Tours: For guided tours, participants must follow all reasonable instructions from the guide. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers themselves or others, with no refund provided.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 Fitness Requirements: Travelers should have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility to participate in our road trips, particularly those involving hiking or outdoor activities. You must inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
5.2 Remote Travel: Many Australian road trips involve travel through remote areas with limited cellular coverage and emergency services. You acknowledge these risks when booking our services. We provide emergency protocols and communication equipment for guided tours in remote areas.
5.3 Wildlife and Environment: Australia has unique environmental hazards and wildlife. Travelers must follow all safety guidelines regarding wildlife encounters, swimming in natural bodies of water, and hiking in the outback.
